The Thunder Over Michigan Airshow features a static aviation display, aerial demonstrations, and twice-daily public battle reenactments. Reenactors set up camp on the grounds of the Willow Run Airport and spend the days offering demonstrations and educational talks to the public. Units have a history of bringing a plethora of tanks, halftracks, and soft-skinned transport vehicles to this event to take part in the WWII vehicle show and parade.
